Following the success of the first race in 2024, we’re thrilled to bring back this West Michigan gem for year two!
What’s New?

- Less overall distance on foot and paddle sections
- Longer bike section featuring the Idema Explorer’s Trail
- More Bigfoot!
- Now offering 4-hour and 6-hour race options (same course, fewer checkpoints for 4-hour)
About the Race:
A beginner-friendly adventure race with checkpoints to find by foot, bike, and paddle. No compass needed—maps provided with all checkpoints being optional. Teams of 2 or 3 travel together (not a relay), choosing their own route. Great for first-timers and seasoned racers alike!
Where:
Bass River Recreation Area, Robinson Township (near Grand Haven & Allendale). Features 5 miles of beginner/intermediate mountain biking trails, Grand River paddling, and diverse hiking terrain.

When:
- 4-hour race: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
- 6-hour race: 9:00 AM – 3:00 PM
- Check-in: 7:00 – 8:15 AM at entrance off 104th Ave
- Awards, food, and ceremony after 3pm cut-off
Who:
- Teams of 2 or 3 (18+ unless with a parent, 12+)
- Bring your own bike, helmet, and optional kayak/canoe (rentals available with registration).
